These are my two oldest daughters, Sarah (5) and Emily (7). Being so close in age, they are best buddies. This shot was taken a few weeks ago, before "color night" at AWANAs -- "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed", which is from the bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15.

We all partake in the fun on Wednesday nights-- I am a leader in TNT and Jennifer is the director of Cubbies. Besides all the fun and games, AWANA's is about bible memorization. Jennifer told me a while back they were driving in the car and Sarah was practicing John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave his only forgotten Son..." I'm happy to report she has that one down pat now.

This is my honey sweetheart Jennifer. She is an amazing lady-- a Trekkie from way back, she enjoys sipping hot cocoa and scrapbooking. She also home-educates our three daughters. I've posted a link to her blog so you can read all about it.

She probably doesn't like this picture, but I really do. This was taken about a year ago, right after I had purchased the guitar shown in the picture-- a 1967 Gibson LGO. Of course, I bought it without her knowing, and this was the moment I unveiled my little secret. You can see the joy on her face, can't you?

About the guitar -- I have this terrible disease called GAS, "Guitar Acquisition Syndrome". Unfortunately, being the insufferably foolish one that I am, I no longer have this guitar. I wish I did-- it had a really neat tone. Great for Dylan stuff especially. I have another guitar now, but I'll save that story for another post.

God bless you all.

This place is kind of confusing, and this is my first post.

Why is my picture so big? Why is there a duck on my head?

Test, test, testingggggggg.......
